The left is back at it again slamming everything and everyone for being racist and sexist, now even targeting Democrat’s very own Joe Biden and his presidential campaign for how they have gone about searching for his vice president pick this election season. Just goes to show, you don’t have to be a Republican to be attacked. The left have now started attacking their own.
MSNBC host Joy Reid has joined in with the radical left in slamming the Joe Biden presidential campaign for the search committee’s criticism of Sen. Kamala Harris. Supporters of Harris were upset over criticism from Former Sen. Chris Dodd, who is on Biden’s vice presidential search committee. He had complained that Harris was too dismissive when questioned on the attacks against Biden during the Democratic presidential debates.
“She laughed and said, ‘that’s politics.’ She had no remorse,” Dodd said to a Biden donor.
The critics of the left pounced on his reports, accusing the search committee of misogyny and racism.
Even former Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell has expressed his doubts about Harris, favoring Congressional Black Caucus chairwoman Rep. Karen Bass (D-Calif) instead. “Kamala can rub some people the wrong way. Karen Bass is not likely to do that. The number one rule for picking the VP? Do no harm,” said Rendell.
Reid claimed Rendell’s statement as a part of the search committee’s “white, older” allies who were trying to undermine Harris out of their own biases.
“There is a really bad taste forming around this Biden veep search. Biden clearly would have been better off making a quick announcement soon after South Carolina as some younger pols counseled and not allowing his very white, older kitchen cabinet’s throwback biases to seep out,” said Reid.
This isn’t the first time we’ve heard the phrase “old white men” from a liberal. Washington Post opinion columnist Jennifer Rubin also complained that Biden’s entire search committee is just “old white men.”
As usual, the radical left is turning our attention away from any of these vice president’s qualifications and more into the twisted stories of deep misogyny and rich white male patriarchy. It’s the clickbait media pushed out there everyday by The Washington Post, New York Times, and even MSNBC.
What we should be discussing are the politics behind the candidates looked at by Biden’s team, but we all know content doesn’t matter to a Dem. All that matters to them is sex, race, and gender.
