Swalwell Gets Busted About Why He’s Being Kicked off Intel Committee

We covered the fireworks that occurred when Rep. Byron Donalds, (R-FL), appeared on Joy Reid’s program. They discussed the fact that Kevin McCarthy, the House Speaker (R-CA), has pledged to kick three Democrats out of their committees: Rep. Eric Swalwell and Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) from the Intel Committee and Rep. Ilhan Omar(D-MN) from the Foreign Affairs Committee.

Swalwell tried selling Americans why he was being kicked out. Reid claimed that Donalds had admitted to him that he was being fired “purely out of revenge.”

As the transcript revealed, this was a complete fabrication. Donalds was not the one talking about “vengeance”, that was Reid’s absurd spin.

Donalds stated that Democrats would “live by” their rules if they wanted to change the rules [about refusing members for committees].

The rules were changed by the former House Speaker when she refused to place the appointees proposed by Republicans onto the Jan.6 Committee. She also “changed” the rules by booting people from committees such as Rep. Paul Gosar, R-AZ, and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-GA. Joy Reid was silent about the “vengeance” when it was all about making the Committee as anti-Trump as possible.

Donalds didn’t talk about vengeance. He also didn’t mention that it was “purely” due to the changes made by Democrats. McCarthy noted that Swalwell was fired because he could not get security clearance due to his past relationship with a Chinese spy. He wasn’t going to leave him on an important committee.

That says something about Swalwell: He’s either unable to distinguish what he heard from Reid or lying to the public. He is a poor candidate for the Intel Committee.

Swalwell was able to get a meeting with a large portion of the internet when he attempted to sell the items with the “reason for his booting”. He was unsuccessful in selling the items he wanted to sell and was then ratioed into the next week.

Dave Rubin posted the interview he did with Kevin McCarthy. McCarthy then went to Swalwell from the gate.
