A package was just intercepted by law enforcement containing ricin poison that was addressed to President Donald Trump at the White House.
The Washington Field Office of the FBI confirmed that the FBI, U.S Secret Service, and U.S Postal Inspection Service partners are investigating a suspicious letter that was received at the U.S government mail facility. It was addressed to President Trump at the White House, but was intercepted by law enforcement before reaching its final destination. Sources say that two tests were performed on the substance and confirmed to be ricin, a deadly toxin.
According to the Popular Science website, ricin is a deadly toxin that is extracted from the seed of the castor plant. It only takes 1.78 mg of ricin injected or inhaled for an adult to die, compared to the size of a few grains of table salt. There is no vaccine or antidote for the poison. If a person is exposed to ricin, death can take place within 36-72 hours.
Investigators believe the letter came from Canada. It arrived just a day after Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s death, opening the door to a shift in power on the Supreme Court. This is not the first time a person has tried sending ricin to the President.
Back In 2018, a Navy veteran confessed to sending envelopes to Trump and members of his administration that contained ground castor beans. In 2014, The Walking Dead actress Shannon Richardson was convicted of sending ricin-laced envelopes to then-President Barack Obama and then-New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg. That year, a Mississippi man was given a 25-year sentence for sending letters dusted with ricin poison to Barack Obama and other officials.
The mainstream media will probably keep quiet about the entire affair. If it were former president Barack Obama, this entire event would’ve been a media storm. The FBI is still in assistance with the US Ricin Investigation as to who sent the letter, but investigators have confirmed that the letter originated in Canada.
This is what happens when left-wing extremism is desensitized and thriving in America. The rest of the world gets nothing but mainstream media fake news. They probably don’t even have one solid argument for trying to poison President Trump.
