Tragic news from Sayreville in New Jersey is breaking.
30-year-old Eunice Dwumfour was killed in her Nissan SUV crash near her apartment. The attack appears to have been targeted at the young politician who was elected in 2022.
According to local news reports police received numerous 911 calls last night at 7:17 p.m. reporting that shots were fired in the vicinity of Samuel Circle, Check Avenue. Dwumfour was found dead inside her car with what appeared like multiple gunshot wounds. The suspect was seen fleeing from the scene of the crime but no arrests were made.
Charlie Kratovil (a local activist and friend of the victim) shared footage of her vehicle being towed away
This was the scene overnight in the Sayreville development known as La Mer, where a 30-year-old Councilwoman was murdered.

Republican Dwumfour was a councilwoman and served as Sayreville’s liaison to public safety, including fire and police. She also served as a liaison to Sayreville Human Relations Commission.
Both Republicans and Democrats offered their condolences to Dwumfour. Governor Phil Murphy offered condolences
I am stunned by the news of Sayreville Councilwoman Eunice Dwumfour’s murder last evening in an act of gun violence. I send my condolences to her family and friends, and the entire Sayreville community.

Karen Bailey Bebert, Chair of Sayreville Republican Party, stated in a statement:
“We will always remember Eunice for the way she lived and not her death”. “She was Sayreville’s embodiment, living the American Dream and conquering all obstacles with determination and a smile.” “She was generous with her time and loved others.” “All who had the privilege of knowing her will miss her.”
Although the motive behind the cold-blooded killing has not been established, heated political rhetoric has escalated post-Roe v. Wade. Radical leftist groups such as Our Rights DC have been waging harassment campaigns outside of the homes and offices of Supreme Court justices. Last year, we reported that a leftist arrived at Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s house with the intent — and tools — of assassinating Kavanaugh.
Authorities ask that anyone with information or surveillance footage of the area where the murder took place to call Sayreville Detective Rebecca Morales at 732-727-4444 or Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office Detective Michelle Coppola at 732-745-3477.
