Brazilian freedom protesters stormed the supreme court, congress, and presidential palaces to protest President LuizInacio Lula Da Silva’s inauguration last week. Protesters claim evidence proves that Lula’s victory against Jair Bolsonaro, a conservative, was fraudulent.
Many media outlets described the protesters as violent and unreasonable. The Guardian called it a Brazilian mob. It reported that hundreds of Brazilian hardcore supporters of Jair Bolsonaro stormed Brazil’s Congress, Presidential Palace, and Supreme Court in a shocking security breach. However, the Guardian did not provide any explanation for why the protesters were so mad.
Protesters have called on Brazil’s military to intervene and replace Lula as head of the government. Bolsonaro arrived in Florida at the beginning of December. Bolsonaro’s policies have been supported by Donald Trump, an ex-President of the United States.
