Joe Rogan, American comedian and podcast host, who has openly supported Senator Bernie Sanders in this year’s Presidential Election, has announced on his podcast The Joe Rogan Experience (that regularly tops the iTunes chart for downloads) that he would vote for President Donald Trump if Biden becomes the official Democratic nominee. He then went on to say
“I’d rather vote for Trump than [Biden]. I don’t think he can handle anything. You’re relying entirely on his cabinet. If you want to talk about an individual leader that can communicate, he can’t do that. And we don’t know what the f**k he’ll be like after a year in office. The pressure of being president of the United States is something that no one has ever prepared for. The only one who seems to be fine with it is Trump, oddly enough. He doesn’t seem to be aging at all or in any sort of decline. Obama, almost immediately, started looking older. George W. [Bush], almost immediately, started looking older.”
Let’s face it…Trump would eat Biden alive in a general election. He stumbles through his words and forgets what he’s talking about half the time. Biden would be a mess during any sort of debate with President Trump.
Biden doesn’t really seem to be able to handle anything. You need a leader who can actively communicate with the people as President of the United States. Biden just sort of goes where the wind blows. He can’t secure a proper nomination because he isn’t being direct in how he envisions tackling core issues such as health care, economic insecurity, and immigration…which is becoming a big issue for even left-wingers as they see Biden moving closer and closer to securing the official Democratic spot this year.
As we’ve seen in previous debates and campaign videos, Biden doesn’t stay on script and his promises are a bit naive. The desire to be honest and open with the people doesn’t show as genuine as other candidates and he needs to display the capacity to take this on…which he still hasn’t done yet.
Joe Rogan has even said the party has made “morons” out of voters by appearing to favor Biden. His famous verbal slip-ups are not a normal way to communicate and he’s been nothing but incredibly inconsistent since running.
Biden has confused his sister and wife while on stage, forgot the lines of the Declaration of Independence during one of his campaign stops, tried to get supporters excited for “Super Thursday” before correcting himself to “Super Tuesday”, and let us not forget when he confused South Carolina for Ohio.
The list goes on… I’ll share one last thing Biden said which is his most famous line at the opening day of the Iowa State Fair. “We believe in Truth over Facts.” Wait…what? Yes. Biden is saying facts don’t matter as long as people are morally right. That’s who the Democrats want running for Office? Yikes. Joe Rogan later on in his podcast (when talking about the slip-ups) said these were “not a normal way to communicate unless he’s high.”
Of course all of these mistakes slide under the radar and the news barely broadcasts about it. In fact after some debate or campaign nights the media goes as far as saying “Biden had a great night” as if it never even happened. Whether it’s highlighted or not, people are watching and catching these mistakes.
The only thing left wing supporters could hope for is a stronger Sanders campaign but based on political points the odds aren’t in his favor. Joe Rogan isn’t the first Democrat to step up and say he’d vote for Trump if Biden were elected the official Democratic nominee for next President of the United States and it’s not far off to say he won’t be the last.
