WH Swiftly Moves Away from CAIR After Exec Dir. Claimed He Was ‘Happy’ Hamas Attacked Israel

After Nihad Awad’s executive director of CAIR said that he “was happy to watch Hamas terrorist attacks on October 7,” the White House tried to distance itself from CAIR. At the 16th Annual Convention for Palestine, held in the U.S. on Nov. 24, he said that Gazans “were breaking the siege”.

The people of Gaza only decided to break the siege, the walls of the concentration camp, on October 7th, and yes. I was happy to see people breaking the siege throwing down the shackles of their land and walking free into their lands that they were not allowed to walk in.

Watch:

I don’t know what else to call it if that does not include openly applauding the brutality of terror attacks and the raping, torturing, and beheading of women and babies.

The Biden Administration launched an anti-Islamophobia initiative several weeks after Hamas’s attacks, despite the fact antisemitism is worse in this country than before. CAIR was listed in the campaign as “one of many independent organizations” participating in it.

Since Awad’s comments went viral, the White House “removed” their commitment to the initiative.

Andrew Bates, spokesperson for the White House, told Fox News Digital “We condemn in the strongest terms these shocking antisemitic comments.”

Bates said that the “horrible and brutal terrorist acts” committed by Hamas on 7th October are “abhorrent”, as Biden called them, and represent “unadulterated evil”.

Awad tried to retract his comments on Thursday, as was expected. He claimed that his words had been reported “misleadingly” and “out of context”. “When people use words such as “misinterpreted,” “taken out of context,” or misleading,’ they mean “I said it. We all know I said it. But I am not courageous enough to take the blame so I will accuse you. ”

Do not take my word for it, nor his. If he says he is “happy” that people are breaking the siege you can decide if he did or didn’t celebrate.

The people of Gaza voted to end the blockade on October 7. They tore down walls and chains that bound them to the land. I was happy to see that the people broke the siege.

The people of Gaza do have the right to self-defense. Israel as an occupier does not.

Gaza is a source of inspiration for many people, even those who are not Muslim. They feel grateful and are not afraid. Israel did not scare them.

The people of Gaza knew that their heaven was Gaza and that if they died, they could go to a different heaven.

The Gazans are winners.

It’s absurd that he now says that he condemns violence when he endorses violence. “I meant the other stuff.”

What was said in the tape is outrageous. By dumping this outfit, the White House made the right decision.
