Chris Wallace has decided to speak out and trash Scott Atlas, who is serving as President Trump’s senior advisor during the current pandemic. This came shortly after the news that President Trump and his wife Melania were tested positive for coronavirus.
Chris Wallace has been a hot topic since moderating the first presidential debates between President Trump and former vice president Joe Biden. Though he said he wanted to remain “invisible” during the debates, it was a promise he couldn’t keep.
As a serious Fox News reporter, Chris Wallace grew more and more hostile and agitated during the night. He wouldn’t let President Trump answer questions at times, asked certain slanted questions that just benefitted Biden, and did not bring up any topics that would benefit the President. At one point, Biden said “I can’t keep track of all his ranting” and Wallace laughed then said, “I’m having trouble myself.” So much for staying invisible, Chris.
After the debates, people went on Twitter to talk about Wallace’s disastrous performance. One person counted that he interrupted President Trump 76 times and only Biden 15 times.
Fox News Contributor Andy McCarthy brought up the fact that Biden publicly stated during the debates that he does not support the Green New Deal. It was a disgraceful performance since his very own campaign website says he supports it. “Oh, Wallace got that out of him? No, Trump did. Oh, well, did Wallace clarify what parts of the Green New Deal Biden is against? No, needed to move on,” McCarthy tweeted.
During the debate, Biden said he was for the Green New Deal, then against it, then began to explain how it was good and going to pay for itself. Wallace, however, interrupted the entire train wreck and said they needed to move on. It was a disgraceful performance and an obvious show in support of Biden.
Chris Wallace then brought up the “very fine people” remark to Biden without even bringing up that it was a flat-out lie. He also rescued Joe Biden from explaining why his son Hunter got $3.5 million from the Moscow Mayor’s wife. “I want to talk about climate change,” Wallace said before moving on.
Now, he’s moved on to trashing the Trump Administration and Atlas for not being a doctor. Who is going to tell Chris Wallace that he isn’t a doctor either?
“I’m going to say something, and folks, I’m just trying to give you the truth. Scott Atlas is not an epidemiologist… he has no training in this area at all. There are a number of top people on the WH task force who have grave concerns about Atlas,” Wallace said on Fox News.
Trump really has broken the brains of mainstream media. On top of that, Wallace took the time to rant about wearing masks after Donald and Melania Trump contracted the coronavirus. He said that there was a difference in the way the two families (Trump and Biden) treated the health safety regulations inside the hall.
First of all, the rest of the first family tested negative, so needing masks while isolated in their seats during the debate is not an issue at all. It’s just left-winged ranting. Second of all, there is still no scientific evidence that masks work. The Democratic governor of Virginia, who is a doctor and wears a mask every day, even got COVID-19 recently.
Virtue signaling journalists might want to start gathering their medical facts before ranting on national television – or at least stay away from moderating presidential debates.
