The Pentagon reported that the US government had detected a Chinese spy balloon hovering over the United States continental the past two days. This announcement came just days before Antony Blinken (Secretary of State) is scheduled to travel to China for “high-level talks.”
Brig. Gen. Pat Ryder stated:
The United States government has detected and monitored a high-altitude surveillance spacecraft that is hovering above the United States. It is not a danger to civilians or military personnel.
Fox News was told by a senior official, that the government believes the balloon belongs to the People’s Republic of China.
It’s admirable the government took immediate action against the collection of sensitive data about them. Alec Baldwin wasn’t available.

This isn’t a joke. It’s serious business and must be handled quickly and decisively. Blinken’s China trip should be canceled.
