“It’s just Joe being Joe” seems to be the famous excuse for Biden’s endless amount of slip-ups during this year’s election race…and it never seems to end.
Joe has practically spent the last three months in his basement conducting his presidential campaign. Between the bizarre Tampa, Florida virtual campaign rally, the “then you ain’t black” comments to his voters, and the garbled incoherent answers he’s given to numerous television hosts regarding the Tars Reade allegations, the Democratic party is really pushing a candidate who just won’t work.
Even with all of this, Biden is still struggling to run his campaign in the middle of a pandemic with all of the technical difficulties his team has faced during the failed virtual calls and campaign videos. And now, Top Joe Biden surrogate Terry McAuliffe just told a video conference meeting of Virginia Democrats over the weekend that the former vice president should remain in the basement and out of the limelight.
“People say all the time, ‘Oh we got to get the vice president out of the basement. He’s fine in the basement. Two people see him a day: his two body people. That’s it,”McAuliffe told the Norfolk City Democratic Committee. Even President Trump has hammered Biden repeatedly for remaining in his basement and has openly questioned whether Biden remains mentally competent. “I’d love to see him get out of the basement so he can speak,” Trump said in a telephone interview with Fox News.
McAuliffe also told the group that it’s “hard for the vice president to break through” as there’s the COVID crisis and when he says things he needs to come out strategically in order to have a big impact. This sounds like utter garbage. As with every presidential election cycle, the media has been nothing but campaign wing for Biden and lumping his pillows. They have done nothing but painted him in the most flattering lights even with all of his rambling. If Trump had said or done even half of the things Biden has during this race, it’d be over for him. The media would’ve slaughtered him.
What McAuliffe is implying is that the less Biden appears, the better. This should be concerning to everyone. He’s been caught in one gaffe after the other in his pre-coronavirus campaign trail, whether it was a debate, campaign speech, or television interview. It has happened so much that even Democrats are raising questions about his age and health and whether or not he has the stamina it takes to run for President.
Biden has become the “last great hope” for Democrats to defeat Trump, along with their allies in the mainstream media, just like they did with Hillary in 2016. His basement gaffes are child’s play compared to what he’ll hit on the campaign trail – not to mention in the debates against Trump.
Of course Biden’s team would prefer he stay in the basement. Every time he speaks, he reminds us that he’s too confused to be President.
