On Thursday April 30th, Joe Biden denied any sexual assault allegation by his former staffer Tara Reade. There’s even a hashtag because Democrats have a hashtag for everything… #IBelieveBiden. They argue that Biden is being transparent, answering the press’s questions, and now it’s just time for everyone to move on. It’s not too much of a prediction for the Left to try to brush this one off their shoulders, being that this is a pattern with any allegation against a Democrat.
It also isn’t a total shocker that the “believe all women” platform they have so highly praised is falling in the face of these accusations, even to the point that some Biden supporters are attacking Reade and accusing her of being a “Putin agent.” Democrats will find a conspiracy theory when all logic fails and that’s where we are at now…and then things got worse.
New Hampshire Democratic state representative Richard Komi has claimed that sexual assault Tara Reade described couldn’t have happened without some cooperation from the female herself. Yikes.
Komi goes on in a tweet to describe how it would not be so easy to access the female anatomy and that her allegations are false. “She is looking for attention.” He tweets.
How a rational adult can make a comment like this is beyond me. A Democrat, in a responsible position in state government, is tweeting about female anatomy and her “cooperation” in this allegation without going off of anything but his own opinion. This tweet got an immediate blowback and was deleted but, as we all know, deleting a tweet doesn’t necessarily mean anything. It was already grabbed.
Komi also tweeted and deleted that he was a supporter of the MeToo movement but did not believe Tara Reade’s allegations. “They are politically motivated. They just want to cast doubt over Biden’s candidacy.” He said. Pretty sure it’s not casting doubt as much as it is just plain contradiction. The more Komi speaks out, the more the people of New Hampshire are reacting and calling for his resignation.
New Hampshire House Speaker Stephen Shurtleff (D) has called for him to resign saying his comment was “appalling.” He has asked Richard Komi to resign his seat after what the Speaker’s office calls an “outrageous and offensive tweet about sexual assault and survivors of sexual assault.” Even the Democrats are pitted against one another over Biden’s allegations. What a mess for the left.
Shurtleff was joined by another Democratic Representative, Timothy Horrigan who tweeted the following: “I hesitate to ask any member to resign their seat, but Komi made an extraordinarily tasteless remark which wasn’t defensible on any level. It was uncharacteristically tasteless too, but that just proves that he should’ve known better.”
Then last, but not least, the New Hampshire Democratic Party’s official Twitter account tweeted an official statement from Chairman Raymond Buckley. “Representative Komi’s comment is wrong, inappropriate, and offensive to all Democrats, and does not reflect the values of our party. I applaud Speaker Shurtleff’s swift action, calling for Rep. Komi to resign immediately.”
As the Democrats and media largely ignore Tara Reade’s sexual assault allegation against Joe Biden, let us never forget just how low they went during the Brett Kavanaugh saga in 2018. Reade has corroboration and Ford didn’t. The double standard exhibited by Biden, prominent liberal women’s groups, and Democrat elected officials is glaring and cannot be allowed to stand.
