The Apple Doesn’t Fall Far From The Tree…

Liz Cheney has always jumped the gun on her false stories, such as the one where Trump had “ignored” evidence of Russian bounties on U.S troops in Afghanistan, but the President has heard enough. President Trump finally took to Twitter about the daughter of former VP Dick Cheney that her foreign policy views are nothing but a series of clashes and misinformation.

“Liz Cheney is only upset because I have been actively getting our great and beautiful Country out of the ridiculous and costly Endless Wars. I am also making our so-called allies pay tens of billions of dollars in delinquent military costs. They must, at least, treat us fairly!!!” The President tweeted.

The Cheneys have always met with pointless wars and sending people off to die for an extra buck. The never ending wars padded bank accounts for a family that has no moral high ground whatsoever.

We’ve been in Afghanistan for almost 20 years now, is President Trump wrong? We are stumping to stay in Afghanistan based on vague generalities. The threat that we have to “defeat” the Taliban or “contain” Al Qaeda offers no endpoint or cease to exist unless the U.S wanted to fully defeat radical Islamism. There is no reason to believe they show themselves to be a threat with our modern technology of surveillance and drone wars.

Liz Cheney has been outspoken about her opposition to Trump’s plans to withdraw U.S troops from Germany and Afghanistan. Many media platforms wrote a defense of Cheney against Trump.

“Cheney is a Republican and a member of leadership, which imposes its obligations, but she hasn’t checked her mind or conscience at the door. She has deeply held views on foreign policy and doesn’t hide them, even when they depart from those of the president,” one article wrote.

You know what a lot of these articles are missing though? Any actual defense of Trump’s opposition. Why should we stay in Afghanistan? How much more money is worth the investment? What is the end goal? Nobody seems to be able to answer these questions which is why President Trump wants to withdraw troops in the first place. It’s pointless. Most Republicans at this point do not even support the war in Afghanistan. Cheney seems to be out of step with her party and most Americans that she’s just become an endless war advocate.

Our military is used to protect democracy and national borders, not to be toyed with absolute corruption within the ruling class and greedy politicians such as the Cheney’s. Bringing democracy to places and people who do not want it is not our place. We should be protecting our own country and democracy from within, and those who voluntarily want it can come here legally in doing so. We chose the more expensive route originally but President Trump is right on this one. Bring our troops home.
