On Wednesday, Ryan Shazier, an ex-NFL star who sustained a serious injury playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers, which cost him his entire career, is now being accused of cheating.
Michelle Shazier, his wife, first posted, then deleted, screenshots of texts between her husband, and the woman with whom he was allegedly chatting on social media. TMZ Sports, among other publications, screenshotted the messages before Michelle Shazier deleted them.
The WIFE, who has been with him from day one! The height of infidelity! I can’t hide anymore. You can have it. She wrote, “I deserve better,” in a blog post. “This is Ryan… He’s a cheater and a liar!”
The texts seemed to show Shazier flirting with a woman named Marie. The texts became more intense after Shazier sent reading suggestions, such as “The Ultimate Guide To Anal Sex For Women”, and “Blow by Blow: A step-by-step guide on how to give B— J— so explosive that he will be willing to do anything for you.”
“Michelle has been living separately and we are currently separated.” “As we decide what’s next for our family I ask that you please respect my privacy and pray for us,” said the former NFL star to TMZ Sports.
The couple got married in 2019.
Shazier was selected by the Steelers in the first round at the 2014 NFL Draft. In 2016, he was named a Pro Bowler and in 2017, he was also named to the Pro Bowl.
In December 2017, he was severely injured in a match against the Cincinnati Bengals. He was never to play football again. His official retirement date is September 2020.
