Remember how left-wing media sock puppets and the Democrat Party tried to scare us all over COVID-19? Joe Biden, who has been quadruple vaxxed, and “Dr. Jill” have both contracted COVID twice. They hysterically warned those not vaxxed about the coming “winter, severe illness, and death”. What about the draconian lockdowns? Me, too.
Compare all this with the relative lack of hysteria about the monkeypox disease. Why is there such a difference in the reporting of monkeypox and COVID by liberal media? That question is also answered by us.
We reported that CNN, AKA: The Most Trusted Name in News (LOL), went to great lengths to ignore science and incredulously declare: “Monkeypox is not a sexually transmitted infection.”
We reported in early August that the mainstream media was slow to report scientific facts about the sexually transmitted virus, and has downplayed or ignored the most important facts regarding monkeypox. The virus is spreading across the country according to a study published in the New England Journal of Medicine. However, 98 percent of the infected men are either gay or bisexual.
We report 528 infections diagnosed between April 27 and June 24, 2022, at 43 sites in 16 countries. Overall, 98% of the persons with infection were gay or bisexual men, 75% were White, and 41% had human immunodeficiency virus infection; the median age was 38 years. The transmission was suspected to have occurred through sexual activity in 95% of the persons with infection.
What’s the deal with the lapdog media? The simple answer is that the left is afraid of stigmatizing gay and bisexual communities by reporting on the “rest” of the story about the primarily sexually transmitted disease.
Benjamin Ryan, NBC News’ science writer, is now lamenting the “gay men’s heroic sacrifices” made over monkeypox. He wrote an article titled How monkeypox spoiled gay mans’ plans for invincible Summer. In it, Ryan says, “Queer men in the U.S. spoke to NBC News about their dates, the sex they didn’t have, and the gatherings they avoided because of the virus.”
Here’s Ryan starting the piece by lamenting the “queer men” situation from the beginning:
Many gay and bisexual men are now experiencing a chaotic and widespread monkeypox epidemic. This has disrupted a summer that had been a chance to have fun with their gay brothers and enjoy some socializing without worrying about the possibility of getting infected.
Ryan, I don’t mean to be critical, but gay and bisexual men were not the only ones who wanted a summer without the left’s COVID lockdowns or mandates. Ryan said that the LGBTQ community’s hopes of “fun” and “reveling” after Memorial Day were crushed.
These men, along with transgender people and other queer people (GBTQ) were confronted soon after Memorial Day with horrifying reports about the often disfiguring and devastating effects of monkeypox on the body. Then came anger and frustration at the Biden administration’s inept initial response to the outbreak.
Ryan began to question gay and bisexual men about how they felt after the unfortunate turn of things. Ryan wrote that over 100 gay, bisexual and transgender people completed an NBC News survey. He was interested in learning about the effects of monkeypox on their lives.
This diverse group of people shared a commonality: missed opportunities. They shared stories about their experiences with sex, dating, and social gatherings that they avoided.
Ryan didn’t say anything that was uncompassionate. But Ryan did not mention any other activities they could have missed.
Michael, 42, explained:
Sex is more than a fun pastime. Many people consider sex a serious part of life.
How did Michael, a teacher, react? Angerful and defiant:
I am not changing my behavior with an attitude of cheerful, take-one-for-the-team compliance. I find the situation frightening, depressing, and degrading. This is a setback for something very important to me: sexual freedom.
Guillermo Rojas (29), a Mexican citizen, was a public administration graduate student in New York City. He told Ryan that he had lost all control of his life.
The pace of life has slowed down. This was supposed to be the summer when everything opened up again.
What has Rojas experienced that “stopped”? He was happy to share details.
I have stopped attending sex parties. I also stopped having sex at parties with people who live off their OnlyFans. I also stopped cruising at the gym and stopped going to Fire Island. I also stopped attending orgies.
Oh, the injustice! The humanity!
“I’ve stopped going to sex parties,” he said… “I also stopped having sex with people who live off their OnlyFans. I additionally stopped cruising at the gym, I did not continue to go to Fire Island, and I stopped attending orgies.”
Tragic

J.J. Ryan — presumably not related to the NBC News reporter — a transgender bisexual man “assigned female at birth”, “spent most of the Covid pandemic transformation.”
“I felt like I was just living before. Ryan, 34, said that he wasn’t living a full life.
As was the case with COVID and any other virulent disease, we have reported factually on both COVID and monkeypox — including an emphasis on those most susceptible to contracting either or both, as in the following related articles.
