In a recently leaked email between President-elect Joe Biden’s son Hunter and Eric Schwerin, Hunter had failed to disclose around $400,000 on his 2014 tax returns. These were income payments from the Ukrainian energy company Burisma, a company where he sat on the board.
Business partner and then-President of Rosemont Seneca Partners Eric Schwerin had claimed that Hunter needed to amend his 2014 returns to reflect the income he had failed to report. “In 2014 you joined the Burisma board and we still need to amend your 2014 returns to reflect the unreported Burisma income,” a 2017 email read.
The email goes on to cite that Hunter Biden had netted more than $1.2 million that year, including the $400,000 from Burisma as well as payments from Rosemont Seneca Advisors and a legal firm. One of the other emails referred to Joe Biden and a Chinese businessman as “office mates,” in reference to requesting a number of keys for a Washington D.C office building. This was during the time that Joe Biden was serving as vice president of the United States.
Copies of the tax return email were first obtained by NBC News by Robert Costella, an attorney for Rudy Giuliani. He was given a copy from one of the Hunter’s hard drives from the laptop that was left at a computer repair shop in Delaware.
The laptop first appeared in an October New York Post report and was censored by many mainstream media platforms as a “disinformation campaign” against democratic nominee Joe Biden and his family. Users were also censored and flagged from sharing the story on social media. NBC News Tom Winter had previously written that their own news networks were unable to cover the laptop story due to “Russian disinformation,” a liberal conspiracy theory that has been slammed down by the FBI.
Hunter Biden recently issued a formal statement through the Biden-Harris transition team regarding federal investigation on his taxes. This is just one of the four federal criminal investigations into the Biden family that is focused on business dealings with China and Hunter’s relationship with Burisma Holdings in Ukraine.
“I learned yesterday for the first time that the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Delaware advised my legal counsel, also yesterday, that they are investigating my tax affairs. I take this matter very seriously but I am confident that a professional and objective review of these matters will demonstrate that I handled my affairs legally and appropriately, including with the benefit of professional tax advisors,” Hunter Biden said.
The more leaked emails we see, the more we learn how crooked Hunter and his entire family really is. Joe knew his son was using his name to peddle influence in foreign countries and make a little cash. The Biden Administration has suppressed and silenced the media from covering Hunter’s laptop story, then claimed to have run a “fair election.”
