In UN Speech Iran’s Foreign Minister Threatens US While Accusing Israel of Genocide

Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the Iranian Foreign Minister, warned the United States that they would not be spared for continuing to deal with what he termed the “genocide” in Palestine. He made this warning to the United Nations during his speech on Thursday.

Amir-Abdollahian stated: “Today, in New York at the United Nations I tell the American officials who are managing the genocide of Palestine that the war expansion in the region is not something we welcome.” “But I warn that if the genocide continues in Gaza, they will not escape this fire.” “It is our homeland and West Asia our region.”

He said that his country has no reservations about its security and will not compromise on any issue.

Amir-Abdollahian addressed comments to President Biden saying Hamas was ready to release civil prisoners. He then added that the world should support the freedom of 6,000 Palestinians, who are also being held as prisoners in Israel.

The foreign minister stated that the United States is in no position to encourage others to refrain from spreading war, as it has been directly and actually involved in crimes against Palestinians. “Therefore we warn strongly against the uncontrollable effects of the White House’s unlimited financial arms, and operational support to Tel Aviv, which has led to the explosion and increased severity of the bombings of civilians, Palestinian women, and children, in Gaza and West Bank.”
