Hillary Clinton, former Secretary of State, accused Republicans of wanting Friday’s starvation via social media.
Clinton made the comment in response to a Republican Governor’s statement. Greg Abbott from Texas expressed outrage at the fact that baby formula was being shipped across border to migrant camps despite a continuing national shortage.
Clinton stated, “The Republican, pro-life position is now that certain infants should starve.”
Clinton has spoken out against the Supreme Court’s expected repeal of Roe v. Wade. Since the court’s draft opinion was leaked, Clinton has been aggressively resisting the pro-life movement. He accuses lawmakers of trying to “control women” or forming an “extreme bloc.”
A GOP representative said that baby formula pallets are being shipped to the border to address a shortage. This is due to many parents not being able to find the product at their local stores.
Rep. Kat Cammack (R-Fla.) said Wednesday that “they are sending pallets and pallets of baby formula over the border.” “Meanwhile we can’t find baby formula in our district.”
According to the White House, President Biden has made it a top priority to address the shortage of formulas.
