Gov. Whitmer Ties Kidnapping Plot To President Trump

Plans were recently foiled by federal agents against six conspirators who were looking to kidnap and harm Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer. This conspiracy included plans of storming the Capitol and taking hostages. Seven other members of the Michigan militia, Wolverine Watchmen, also helped to plan and instigate a civil war against the government. They all wanted to create a “self-sufficient” society free from Whitmer’s coronavirus restrictions.

Court filings show that the conspirators conducted surveillance at her home and trained with firearms and explosive devices. They started meeting in June in a Grand Rapids shop basement through a secret door.

It didn’t take long however for Gov. Whitmer to blame President Trump. She was recently on CBS’s “Face The Nation” and used her platform to point the finger at the “bad orange man” in office.

“But, I do believe that there are still serious threats that groups like this group, these domestic terrorists, are finding comfort and support in the rhetoric coming out of Republican leadership from the White House to our state House. And so I remain concerned about safety and integrity going up to this election,” Gov. Whitmer said.

Ironically enough, Gov. Whitmer mentioned that she feels safe and protected by the Michigan State Police, and that they are an incredibly professional organization. Perhaps, that’s the nicest thing a Democratic politician has said about the police in quite some time.

She went on to say that President Trump is incredibly divisive and downright dangerous. Trump derangement syndrome seems to consist of blaming every negative occurrence on the president, even fallacious allegations that the plot to kidnap her is somehow related to President Trump.

The Detroit News even pointed out that one of the suspects hates the President and is an anarchist. Video footage had Brian Caserta, one of the alleged conspirators, ranting about politics, specifically President Trump.

“Trump is not your friend, dude,” he said. “And it amazes me that people actually believe that when he’s shown over and over and over again that he’s a tyrant. Every single person that works for the government is your enemy, dude,” Caserta said.

Others have affiliated another suspect, William Null, with the Black Lives Matter Movement, and that he even participated in at least one Black Lives Matter protest.

Turning a kidnapping plot into some political agenda to use against Trump is just another liberal move in using whatever facts they want to push whatever narrative they want. It’s incredible what Gov. Whitmer will use to benefit her politically. What else should we expect from a left-winged governor?
