As Kamala Harris takes the ticket for Joe Biden’s VP pick, many are coming to speak out about how far-left she actually is. For example, Sen. John Kennedy of Louisiana offered some push as to how socialist her character really is.
“I think of Kamala, I would describe her as Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez but smarter and without the bartending experience,” Sen. Kennedy said. Pretty spot on if you ask me.
He went on to say that she’s smart, but also very aggressive and very liberal.
The allusion isn’t off. She’s an absolutely radical and there’s no left-wing policy I’ve found yet that she’s been against. Abortion until birth, the Green new deal, raising taxes, allowing illegal immigration, you name it. She’s talked vaguely about reducing funding and moving it into social programs. Probably her own slick way of saying “defund the police” without actually saying it.
Harris is also on the bandwagon for pushing just about any partisan narrative. She had her grand performance during the Kavanaugh hearings, where she included grand conspiracies and some law firm references. She also had “proof” of evidence against the Mueller Investigations. We never heard anything else from her during those two events, which probably means that most evidence she claimed to have never existed.
Harris is one of the few politicians who is in favor of government-run health-care plans, including the coverage of illegal immigrants. She has even co-sponsored the Green New Deal, which has socialism written all over it.
The Green New Deal, introduced by Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, talks about economic and social issues that have little to no correlation with environmental issues. This bill was less about climate change, and more about social justice ideas in its mere 14 pages.
The push to paint Harris as a moderate is anything but true. Unfortunately, the only anchor willing to talk bad about her appears to be Fox News’ Bret Baier, though I’m sure he’ll get called a sexist or racist in the near future from it.
“There is this effort to make her more moderate than her voting record is. Just if you look at the data, she has one of more liberal, if not the most liberal, voting records in the Senate,” Baier explained. He went on to talk more about how the media, such as The New York Times, are gaslighting Harris as a “pragmatic moderate” when she is anything but.
Somebody out there needs to tell the rest of the nation that Harris really isn’t as “left-centered” as she claims to be. She’s practically Ocasio-Cortez’s wing-woman at this point.
