On a recent New York Times Opinion podcast, host Kara Swisher sat down with former Democratic Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton to discuss the COVID-19 pandemic and Donald Trump’s Presidency.
Swisher asked Clinton about the thought of President Trump winning reelection, in which she said it makes her “literally sick to my stomach.” She rambled on about how Trump won the 2016 election and claimed lives with the specter of illegitimacy.
“I don’t think he has any boundaries at all, Kara. I don’t think he has any conscience. He’s obviously not a moral, truthful man. So he will do whatever he can to lift himself up. And remember, as I said, he lives with this specter of illegitimacy. He knows more about how he got really elected than we still do. Hopefully, we’ll learn more in the years ahead,” Clinton said.
Clinton then went on to criticize President Trump and said she would’ve done a better job at managing the COVID-19 pandemic. She further explained that she was born to be a good president and ready for emergencies at all times.
“You listen to the science, you bring in people in an open, inclusive way, you communicate constantly, you make the case by explaining why what you’re doing is in the long-term interest, not only of health but also of the economy,” Clinton said.
It’s been hard for the American people to take anything the Democratic politicians are saying seriously. They’ve been wasting too much time using the crisis to promote universal health care, blaming Trump for using “racist rhetoric” against China, and blocking every relief bill left and right to make Trump’s presidency look bad. For four years, it’s all been a political game for Hillary to whine about losing the election, when really, she just lost.
Hillary and the far left have pledged their allegiance to socialism and funding government pet projects over the relief and support of the American people and small businesses. If anything, the podcast release is just a distraction from what’s coming to light now in regard to Russia being concocted by Hillary’s campaign.
Hillary, along with the rest of the Democrats, will have to learn to suck things up and move forward. In four years, President Trump has secured our border, brought peace to the middle east, lowered unemployment rates historically, and brought our troops home. All she’s done is a mini-series with Bill Clinton on his illicit affairs.
According to what the current polls reflect, it looks like Hillary is going to get that stomach ache after all. Time to pull out the Tums.
