A state representative from Illinois introduced legislation this week to require armed guards in all businesses susceptible to armed theft.
According to Blaze Media, the Armed Security Protection Act, if passed, would require banks, grocery stores, and pawn shops with more than two million people to have at minimum one armed guard on the premises during business hours. That’s clever!

The Congressional Democrats oppose arming school teachers. Joe Biden, the gun-grabber chief, is determinedly against “hardening schools împotriva potential shooters”. A Democrat state legislator proposes legislation that would require armed guards in order to protect the money. He believes that only good guys can stop bad people. However, Democrats are unwilling to use the right logic to protect America’s schoolchildren. Instead, they rationally decide to deny Second Amendment rights to law-abiding gun owners.
Totally logical, right? Uh-huh — about as logical as the ridiculous sign below.

Contrary to what popular belief says, a man who sees a sign will get more excited if it’s a grocery store or gas station. But, I digress. Let’s go back to Illinois.
The Armed Security Protection Act was sponsored by Democrat Rep. Thaddeus. Illinois Democrat legislators support greater gun control and fewer guns, but not more guns for combating runaway violent crime. Jones voted in favor of a ban on pretend “assault weapons”, such as the AR-15 and other semi-automatic firearms, which Illinois Democrat Gov. J.B. Pritzker officially signed into law in January.

Conclusion:
I applaud a Democrat lawmaker for introducing legislation to make businesses more vulnerable to robbery. But I have a problem when hypocritical Democrats refuse to apply the same logic to protecting school children and American citizens’ rights to defend themselves with legal weapons.
Biden and Democrats have spoken against semi-auto firearms such as AR-15s. To freedom-loving Second Amendment-supporting Americans across the fruited Plain, the notion that the federal government (Democrat Party) decides which type of firearm is acceptable is absurd — Democrat gun-grabbers be damned.
