Chalk one up for the fact that we still live in a pretty amazing country, even though we have some absolutely rotten devious buffoons leading us at all different levels of government.
This is why I begin this article. It’s sometimes hard to keep the thought in the forefront of my head because of the constant barrage of nonsense that we are bombarded with. It’s safe to say, I believe, that the left has been adamantly hostile towards every Republican president and administration since Nixon.
But they have outdone themselves with the former president Donald Trump. He’s had the entire kitchen sink thrown his way, and some members of the public have also joined in.
It’s actually a positive thing.
You may ask: Why?
It is important for the health of the republic that we can do the same to Joe Biden or anyone else who is in an elected position with whom you disagree.
We should not be afraid to express our opinions in person, rather than just on Facebook.
If you didn’t know, I was inspired to write this article because the 45th president of the United States, Bob Ritchie (AKA Kid Rock), and Tucker Carlson were at UFC 295 New York a few weeks ago.
Bill Burr, a comedian, has found himself in a controversy when his wife, actress Nia Hill, was filmed giving former President Donald Trump the two-finger salute during UFC 295.
After Trump sat cageside at the Madison Square Garden event, flanked by UFC CEO Dana White and Tucker Carlson, a conservative media personality, an incident occurred. Hill raised her middle finger in the air as Trump welcomed the crowd. She was also pointing at the Republican candidate for the 2024 Presidential election.
Here is the non-offending gesture

Burr’s response to the controversy was:
Burr responded to the attention that his wife had received following the viral video of her slapping Trump.
“I love my spouse.” Burr replied, “You know your position with her.” “The guy entered the arena. Everyone cheered. She gave him the finger. Nobody was arrested.” This is why our country is great. Everyone expressed themselves. “Can we all be grown-ups?”
Burr continues to say that some Trump supporters are snowflakes, but they don’t realize it because someone gave Donald the double bird salute prior to the event. Burr has a good point because at least on Twitter there were many Trump supporters who were shocked that anyone would insult their president.
Most of the supporters of Donald Trump love it when he does his part during campaign appearances and rips into people such as Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, or any other person that the former President dislikes.
This is fair play in my view.
It’s not possible to be controversial and expect everyone to treat you like a child when you are out and about. Politicians and those who promote woke-ism and political correctness in this country for the last 20-25 years have failed to achieve their goal of expecting anything else.
People with conservative views or libertarian ones can be throttled, and their views can be censored to prevent a free and honest debate. Fact-checkers are not only on Facebook and Instagram but also in search engines on other platforms. They can, with a flick of a switch, prevent those who have large followings or write on big platforms from being able to see their thoughts.
It’s nonsense.
I’ve written several articles on the importance of humor and comics in breaking down walls of protection and in some cases even good taste, to ensure that the First Amendment will be honored the way the founders intended.
This is one of the most recent of my favorites. A #wokefad was created to pretend men were women on one of one of my favorite websites.
The Babylon Bee has recognized Bud Light Destroyer, as the MAN of the year.
It’s time to recognize a man who has done more than anyone else to help advance the cause of mankind and set the bar higher for other men.
The Babylon Bee selected Dylan Mulvaney as the recipient of the Man of the Year Award for 2023.
Mulvaney was already a force to be reckoned on by the Chinese spying app TikTok before he became a celebrity spokesperson powerful enough to destroy the reputations of big-name consumer products. Mulvaney was hired as the pitchman for Bud Light last spring, and the once top-selling brand suffered the steepest financial decline in its history. Dylan Mulvaney, the legendary man behind the brand Bud Light in the beverage industry, brought it to its knees.
The MAN OF YEAR.
GENIUS.
If you want to put an end to this absurd idea that someone’s feelings matter more than your freedom of speech, your right to self-defense, or even to offend someone, you are on the wrong side.
Donald Trump getting flipped off by the wife of a comedian isn’t offensive to me. I just wish Trump had seen what she did. I would have laughed at his response, and the Internet would have melted.
After a short hibernation, I am glad to see people of all backgrounds embracing the First Amendment.
It’s not necessary to use violence. Those who do so should be dealt with. The right to peacefully criticize your government, including current and former officials, is something that has made this country stand out from other countries.
Keep it that way.
