Biden Dodges Another Important Question, Accuses Reporter Of “Shouting” Questions

We watched an entire summer of Joe Biden being rude to reporters during televised interviews. He is notoriously known for dodging questions, accusing reporters of being fake news, and refusing to answer any question that challenges his views.

President-elect Joe Biden recently met with vice president-elect Kamala Harris, as well as House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, in Wilmington, Delaware. They were ending their meeting in which Biden said to Pelosi and Schumer “I hope we’re going to spend a lot of time together.” He noted that the Oval Office “mi casa, you casa.”

When ending their meeting and asking the press corps to leave, a CBS News reporter attempted to intervene and calmly ask Biden about the debate in opening up schools since the COVID-19 pandemic.

The question was in regards to New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio announcing that all public schools would be closed starting Thursday. Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear and Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer did the same, despite the Coronavirus Task Force insisting that schools should remain open despite a surge in cases across the country.

“Mr. Biden, the Covid task force said it’s safe for students to be in class. Are you going to be encouraging unions to cooperate more to bring kids back to the classrooms, sir?” Erickson asked.

Instead of responding to the question, Biden responded with, “Why are you the only guy that always shouts out questions?” The CBS News reporter was then escorted out by Biden’s staff.

Disease Control and Prevention directors have noted that one of the safest places kids k through 12 can be is in school. They note that governors should not be making emotional decisions on what to close and what not to close. Data over the months shows that face-to-face learning is not the problem and that kids can do it safely and responsibly.

Video footage of the exchange between Biden and Erickson took a life of its own on social media. Users came to the reporter’s defense, noting that the question about our schools was important to ask and that he clearly doesn’t have a firm answer on this. Why aren’t people ever criticizing Biden for attacking the press? Now the national press will be pushed around by Biden’s team for four years.

The teacher unions are refusing to cooperate with getting kids back in school, despite the COVID-19 task force saying it is safe to be there. Biden didn’t answer the question because he never has an answer. He just goes where the wind blows. Not that we should expect an intelligent answer from Biden anyway.
