Arizona Democrat Katie Hobbs seems to have missed the memo sent by the Washington, D.C., Smart Set to tone down rhetoric against Republicans following the July assassination attempt on GOP nominee and ex-President Donald Trump.
Hobbs called the candidates running in the general election “insurrectionists”, and “white supremacists”, and “indicted fake voters” in her Wednesday press release about the Arizona primary results, which were held on Tuesday. Ballots are still being counted for some hotly contested races in Copper State.

The full text of the post reads as follows:
Yesterday marked the start of a very competitive general election campaign for many candidates.
Arizonans have to decide whether they want to allow insurrectionists and white supremacists to continue controlling the Legislature or if they prefer Democratic candidates focused on lowering the costs of living for Arizonans investing in public education and restoring reproductive rights.
I am confident that Arizonans are going to choose sanity again over chaos, and I’m looking forward to working with the governing majority in the next legislative sessions.
The Phoenix New Times, a progressive local newspaper, proudly dubbed her “The Veto queen” for her vetoes of numerous bills in her short (almost) two-year first term.
After an unprecedented 143 vetoes by the governor in 2023. Katie Hobbs re-used her veto and rejected 73 laws in 2024. This brings her total for the past two years to 216…
The Left’s main concern is to obstruct the will of those they claim to serve. The New Times reports that she has also blown away the disgraceful record of former Dem Governor, Janet Napolitano. She “vetoed 183 bills between 2003 and 2009.”
It’s 181 in seven years as opposed to Hobbs’s 216 in only two years. Remember that Napolitano had a Republican majority in her Legislature. There hasn’t been a Democrat majority in the statehouse since Ronald Reagan occupied the Oval Office. Democrats currently hold 14 out of 30 seats in the state Senate, and 29 out of 60 seats at the state house.
T.J. Shope, Republican Senate President Pro Tempore and State Senator of Arizona had the perfect response to the Governor’s race-baiting remarks in a hot and factual blog post.
Gov. @katiehobbs, I’m just trying to figure out if our all Hispanic LD16 team of Shope, Martinez & Lopez are the “insurrectionists, white supremacists, or fake electors”… 🤔
Talk about a positive unifying campaign message for ya…good luck https://t.co/cBomwdGCx0

Good luck!
The Left will never answer this question because they know that the answer will expose them as hypocrites. Conservatives should move forward to November, as I stated in my article on Tuesday about Kari Lake’s victory in the U.S. Senate Primary. She will now face off with ultra-radical leftist Rep. Ruben Galego for the Sinema Seat.
