Alexandria Ocasio Cortez gets to the heart of the problem. AOC does not see it as a matter of safety or justice if biological males play female sports. She only wants girls to reveal their genitals if they want to play.
AOC made a strange claim at a House Oversight Subcommittee on Health hearing on biological males playing women’s sports. She stated, “We are talking about opening up all women and girls to genital examinations when they are underage, potentially just because someone can point to someone and say, ‘I don’t think you are a girl.'”
I don’t think that anyone else is thinking this except for AOC and it’s insane.
“And we’re saying this in an environment of a post-Dobbs America, where states are criminalizing access to abortion and want nothing more than data on women to figure out when, who’s getting a menstrual cycle, who doesn’t have one, and we’re supposed to believe this is going to make us better and safer?”
Huh?
I’m not sure how a woman’s period ended up in this conversation, or “criminalizing access to abortion.” AOC might have an abortion on the brain, but no one is asking players to get pregnant to “prove” they’re female.
She has never played field hockey with a male biological and has been slammed into the face. She’s never been hit in the face by a man biological while playing field hockey.
Summer Lee (D-Pa.), the minority ranking subcommittee member, accused Riley Gaines of being “transphobic”. Gaines gave the best response this year.
Gaines stated that transgender Americans were included in her opinion. ”
The former NCAA athlete stated in her opening remarks that “Inclusion can’t take precedence over fairness and safety.” “And ranking member Lee, if my testimony was ‘transphobic,’ then I think that your opening monologue would make you a misogynist. ”
You go, girl.
For how long will we pretend to be able to ignore the evidence in front of us? Accepting evidence is not difficult. Accepting evidence requires no effort. What makes AOC and trans advocates so unreasonable?
