On Wednesday, as shots rang out a radio DJ who was devoted to the Kansas City Chiefs and a die-hard fan of his team was shot dead. At least 22 other people were injured during the celebration of the NFL team’s victory.
In a Facebook post, the KKFI community claimed that Lisa Lopez Galvan, a DJ at the radio station, was murdered in a senseless act.
In the post, it read: “It is with a heavy and sincere heart that we inform our communities that KKFI’s DJ Lisa Lopez, host of ‘Taste of Tejano’, who was killed at today’s KC Chiefs rally, in KC has died.” We send our prayers to her family. Anyone who believes they may have seen anything should contact law enforcement.
