Businesses Board Up For Post-Election Violence

With only days left until the 2020 presidential election, businesses are beginning to prepare for the negative fallout after the election. Storefronts in major American cities are scarred after the weeks of violent riots from the radical left earlier this summer and are starting to board up.

“As we prepare for Election day, our stores are monitoring the situation so we can be prepared for any activities that might take place across the U.S. on November 3 and potentially in the days following. We’re taking steps to help keep our customers and employees safe and our stores secure, and that includes boards or additional security at some of our locations,” Nordstrom said in a recent statement regarding their two boarded-up stores in St. Louis, Mo.

Stores have noted concerns of anything related to protests, embedded agitators that might loot, or those who will cause violence or destroy property. Washington D.C. has also begun boarding up shopfronts, including barriers and fences in neighborhoods near the White House. By the way it looks, people are starting to expect Donald Trump to win. The hate and divisiveness fueled by the mainstream media is a direct reflection of just that. But surely they can’t be worried about more “peaceful protests,” right?

“I don’t think we’ve seen anything like this in modern times. When you look at previous elections, there’s always been the concern when you have large crowds . . . we know [that] can be a target for someone who has an agenda,” said Andrew Walsh, a deputy chief with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.

While Las Vegas maps out their safety plan for this election, New York City’s Police Department is dispatching officers at each of the city’s 1,201 polling locations on Election Day. Police and emergency responders are being trained for whatever scenario happens on Election Day. Many departments have canceled officers’ time off around the election and are on “tactical alert” during the week of the election, in case there is a call to respond to civil unrest.

Insurgent groups, such as Black Lives Matter, have already planned attacks against President Donald Trump and to “shut down the country” if Biden doesn’t win. Another group, Shut Down DC, also laid out their election night plans and said they will do “whatever it takes” to respond to major attacks on democracy and will continue to wait in the streets for all votes to be counted.

These plans for “fighting Democracy” are just another way to riot and attack American institutions if the results aren’t what the liberals want them to be. A victory for Trump is the “beginning of the end” for the radical left. When the radical left can’t win through the election, they’ll try to take control through anarchy and destruction.

Good thing President Trump believes in a little law and order.
