You can say just about anything these days and a liberal will turn it into an unbelievable rant blaming President Trump for it. It’s the way of the media.
Recently, Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler raged and rejected President Trump’s offer to send national guards into his city that has had a constant stream of violence and destruction for two months now. The radical left have gone as far as murdering a Trump supporter. Murdering someone for having their own political beliefs.
Someone had shouted “We got a Trumper right here” just before shots were fired and the man was killed. He wasn’t posing any threat and even walking in the same direction at the time he’s shot. Nothing about this was self-defense, it was a straight-up murder.
Shortly after, Mayor Wheeler held a press conference and denounced the violence, blaming President Trump for all of the city’s crime and the resulting death from it.
He starts his speech by calling the President a person who gives “racist attacks on black people” and “sexist attitudes towards women.” Using the racism and sexist card? Original.
“Do you seriously wonder, Mr. President, why this is the first time in decades that America has seen this level of violence? It’s you who have created the hate and division. it’s you who have not found a way to say the names of black people killed by police officers even as people in law enforcement have. And it’s you who claimed that white supremacists are good people,” Wheeler said.
What we really don’t need is fake news. President Trump has never claimed white supremacists to be good and has attempted to work with Democrats to reform bad policies (like Biden’s 1994 Crime Bill).
He continues talking about how people need to be held accountable in stopping racism and violence, but then blames President Trump for the Trump Supporter who was killed? Not the people who actually did it. Then he can divide the races and anyone who disagrees with him is also being divisive. The hypocrisy in his message puts him on the wrong side of things.
The attackers haven’t been charged yet and the prosecutors have refused to take any action. Apparently, they scold people who report crimes in the “Rose City.”
Democratic mayors currently perpetuating the rioting at the expense of lawful citizens are allowing their communities to burn. The rioters despise the exact people who are supporting them and it’ll eventually come back to bite them. I guess the lesson learned is that if you want to avoid responsibility, blame Trump.
