Trump Hits Back, Against Jan. 6, Says Biden Is Trying To Further Divide America

In a Jan. 6, speech, former President Donald Trump reacted to President Biden’s harsh criticism, claiming that his Democratic successor is trying to distract from his record. Trump stated in a statement that Biden had “used my name today” to divide America. “This political theatre is a distraction from the fact that Biden has completely failed.”

“Our country has lost control of Covid and has no borders, (record numbers!) Trump said that the United States is no longer Energy Independent, inflation is rampant and our Military is in chaos. Trump also stated that the withdrawal from Afghanistan, which was a surrender, was “perhaps the most embarrassing day in America’s long and distinguished history–and so many more.”

In a Thursday morning speech, Biden attacked Trump by saying that he had “created and spread lies about the 2020 election” and that his power was more important than America’s. His bruised ego is more important to him than our democracy and our Constitution.

The former president reacted to the House committee that was investigating Jan. 6, 2021, and repeated his false claim of a “rigged” 2020 presidential election.

Trump ended his remarks by saying that Democrats wanted to own the day in order to “stoke fear and divide America”.
Trump stated, “I say, they have it,” and that America “sees through” their actions and words.
