The Recent Meltdown Of The Media

I love thinking back on those times President Obama and First Lady Michelle personally endorsed private businesses throughout their years in the White House and suffered zero wrath from the media over it. The level of political criticism during the Trump Era is like nothing we’ve seen before. Obviously the press was taking an 8-year vacation during the Obama Administration and now they are back elevating their rage more than ever.

The media is so reactive when it comes to anything President Trump does that, at this point, the Trump family cannot help but troll the press. The press has become so blinded with hate that everything the President says or any person/company that supports him sends them on a scorched frenzy with accusing headlines and political debates.

We’re back at it again with the outrage over the fact that the President of Goya Foods, Bob Unanue, during a White House visit had words of praise for President Trump. “We’re all truly blessed at the same time to have a leader like President Trump, who is a builder,” said Unanue during the visit. This led to tizzy fits thrown by the liberal-washed media demanding the public boycott all Goya products, even though the company is one of the largest Hispanic food manufacturers and distributors in the nation and employs more than 4,000 people.

Goya recently donated 2 million pounds of food to food banks across the nation who are in desperate need of food for families impacted by COVID-19. Goya products are flying off the shelves, touted by people like Mike Opelka and Mark Levin. The left has tried to cancel the Hispanic business for showing their support for Trump and has failed miserably.

There has also been a social media challenge going around called the #GoyaChallenge where people buy Goya products, donate them to homeless shelters or food banks, post pictures of it, and then encourage others to do the same. Several people have even started GoFundMe campaigns to help feed those in need, one man raising $60k to donate Goya products to food pantries.

Did the left even stop to think about the thousands of black and Latino workers Goya employs? It is a job generator and a role model for every single immigrant to this country. Canceling a company based on emotions is truly idiotic, but I wouldn’t expect any less from the left.

Mind you, the media refuses to report that President Trump is a part of the White House Hispanic Prosperity Initiative and signed an Executive Order that aided Latino economic and educational opportunities. All the media reports are “Trump is racist.”

Unanue has refused to even consider an apology for his comment. Then toying with the media even more, Ivanka Trump posted a photo of herself holding a can of Goya beans and President Trump posted a shot of himself at his desk in the Oval Office with a collection of Goya products. Talk about a media meltdown.

The media has also forgot to mention that Michelle Obama was involved in a project in conjunction with the USDA regarding healthy food choices for families and one of the key companies aiding the White House in this project was Goya.

Same company, same chief executive, but a hysterically different reaction from the press. It’s safe to say that hypocrisy has no limit for the left.
