Kamala is getting ready to face Donald Trump for the first time and perhaps the only time in this election cycle. The current vice president, Kamala Harris, is receiving some advice from the only person who has ever lost a presidential race to Donald Trump.
This is a great day for Trump.
The New York Times interviewed Hillary Clinton who offered advice to Harris in the debate on Tuesday night.
What advice would you give to Kamala Harris in her preparation for the debate with Trump?
She has proven herself to be an excellent debater in both her California races and her debate with Mike Pence. She needs to feel comfortable with both her offense and defense when she debates Trump.
Have you spoken to Harris about the debate?
He does not answer any of the questions. He does not provide any details. The reporting suggests that he will take a scorched-earth approach, and try to destroy her. This is his usual strategy.
You need to remind him of his terrible record as President, what he said he wanted to do the next time and his involvement with Project 2025.
I think that she has some good ammunition.
I like the part about Harris being an excellent debater because I watched her debate with Mike Pence, and I thought “Why is she angry?” She used her righteous anger to attack Mike Pence who was calm and collected the entire time.
Clinton didn’t mention her poor debate performance in 2020 when she was a presidential candidate. She dropped out of the race before the primary. This tells you more about her debate abilities than two statewide races or a meaningless vice-presidential debate.
Also, it’s worth noting that Clinton advised Joe Biden before his June debate. Biden performed so poorly that he had to quit the race.
In her Times op-ed, she said: “He starts with nonsense then digresses to blather.” “Yet, expectations for him are low enough that if he does not light himself up on fire on Thursday night, some may say he is downright presidential.”
Clinton wrote, “Biden’s a good man and a decent person who fights hard for the working families.” “Yes, he’s 81. This is only three years older than Donald Trump. Trump.”
Please, Mrs. Clinton. Continue to advise Democrats. They need the leadership of a visionary leader who ignored the Rustbelt and blue-collar workers to appeal to younger, progressive voters within urban enclaves that are already heavily Democratic. The Democratic Party has the benefit of having elder statesmen such as Barack Obama and the Clintons to guide them in a future that could see them losing again to Donald Trump.
I hope Vice President Harris takes the advice of Mrs. Clinton and understands it before tomorrow’s debate. Harris is in desperate need of help when she faces Trump, especially since her record is so poor. You almost feel sorry for her.
