Senator Tuberville Tells Retired General Hayden to Stop Drinking

Michael Hayden, retired general and former CIA director, posted a message on X (formerly Twitter), which appeared to be a death wish for Alabama Senator Tommy Tuberville.

Citing a tweet that asked “Should Tommy Tuberville’s committee be removed? “Yes or No?” Hayden writes, “What about the human race?”

Van Laar took a screenshot of the post because many believed that he would have to backtrack and remove this casual threat. Hayden, however, doubled down after receiving much criticism.

Ahh, Hayden is using big words now. As Van Laar reported, Sen. Tuberville was intransigent with Biden’s Department of Defense nominations because he took a principled stand to end the abortion tourism mess.

Tuberville, unlike many Republicans, has been steadfast and persistent in his opposition. He continues to put a hold on promotions for senior military personnel. Hayden’s retired. What is his concern? Tuberville, is he blocking Hayden’s nominees that Hayden oiled the skids for?

Hayden is not doing himself any favors. He deserves the criticism he has received. Hayden may claim otherwise, but it is not only “MAGAnuts” who are angry about his attempt at… um… discourse.

Tuberville first commented on Hayden’s posts and comments in his own inimitable Southern style and expressed the hope that he would receive an apology.

“It was one of those late-night tweets,” Tuberville said following a Walker County Chamber of Commerce speech. “… I would expect an apology soon. I would hope. The problem is you’ve got so many psychos out there that read that stuff, and we have enough problems with death threats and all those [things] that go on anyway, but you think this guy would know a little bit better. It’s obvious he should’ve never been in the position he was in.”

Tuberville stated, “It is obvious that he does not have both of his oars on the water.” He shouldn’t be drinking every day. I don’t understand what he is doing. This is not appropriate. It’s not appropriate. “Even Alabama fans did not say that when I was Auburn’s coach.”

Tuberville has issued a statement in response to Hayden’s doubling-down.

Tuberville reported the incident to Capitol Police. The former CIA spook is under investigation.

Washington- U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville, R-AL, released the following statement in response to General Michael Hayden’s comments calling for violence against Senator Tuberville.

“This morning, my office became aware of General Michael Hayden’s statement calling for an assassination motivated by politics. This statement is offensive and repugnant against everything that we as Americans believe. Hayden must have been aware that by making this statement he would be committing a serious offense, given his long career at Washington. His efforts to reinterpret his words today are a tacit admission that he is guilty. If there is still a nonpolitical system of justice in the United States, General Hayden would be prosecuted up to the full extent of the law. My office reported this incident to Capitol Police, and I expect them to once again do a great job protecting members and bringing criminals to justice.

Tuberville also criticized the Democrats’ silence. They’re the ones who scream “Silence equals violence”.

“I do not know of a single Democrat Member of Congress that has condemned this reckless declaration. This deafening quiet tells us all we need to about Democrats’ commitment to “Our Democracy.” In fact, Democrats continue to attack me today by name. General Hayden, sadly, is the latest in an endless line of Washington Leftists to have used reckless rhetoric against me over the last few months. This has to stop, and it must stop immediately.

Tuberville reminded America about Hayden’s failures and collusion with the people and Constitution that he had sworn to protect.

General Hayden was responsible for some of the worst failures in American intelligence history, including the 9/11 attacks and the absence of Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) in Iraq. Hayden also actively participated in the Russia Hoax and lied to Joe Biden about Hunter Biden’s laptop. These two lies have ripped our nation apart and caused great damage to our republic. General Hayden has no right to criticize anyone, as his credibility is completely destroyed.

Tuberville called on the lies and propaganda to end and to condemn reckless statements like those made by Hayden.

“I’m a Republican and a conservative, but I’m also an American who is deeply concerned about the future of this country. I’m not a politician and I didn’t expect to become popular in Washington. But I certainly did not anticipate being lied to on the Senate floor by Michael Hayden and being threatened by ex-government officials. Anyone who cares about the country should condemn his reckless remarks.”

Hayden, who spent his years as a provocateur and a fabulist, is hardly comparable to Tuberville. This is a way to end the influence of these swamp rat’s shadows and their never-ending career.
