Psaki Seeks To Quash Questions About Russia & China Conflicts Of Interest Related To Hunter Biden

Jen Psaki (White House press secretary) attempted to dismiss a reporter’s question about Friday’s “conflicts” facing the Biden administration when it came to sanctioning people from Russia or China who have done business with the Biden family.

Steven Nelson, a New York Post journalist, highlighted a 2020 Senate Homeland Security and Finance Committee Report that claimed Rosemont Seneca Thornton was an investment firm founded in Hunter Biden’s name. He said Rosemont Seneca Thornton received $3.5M via wire transfer from Elena Baturina. He also mentioned a report claiming that the then-Vice President Biden had dinner at Georgetown with the same woman.

Psaki responded, “I don’t have any confirmation as the accuracy of this reporter’s report,” and moved for other reporters to be called.

Psaki was again asked about conflicts in interests in sanctioning Russians with business dealings in Russia.

“His father’s business received $3.5million from …” Nelson before Psaki intervened.

Psaki responded, “Which I have no confirmation of, however he continues to sanction oligarchs larger than we’ve previously sanctioned, so that there’s no conflict of interest.”

Hunter Biden’s lawyer stated that he sold his assets and other assets to Bohai Harvest RST Equity Investment Fund Management Co. via Skaneateles LLC.

Nelson asked Psaki questions about the divestment of China and potential conflicts of interest made by President Biden.

Nelson said that there was no transparency about who purchased his stake, when it occurred, and how much money was transferred. Nelson asked: “Did he really sell? Nelson asked, “Did he really divest? Can you give basic transparency?”

The New York Times reported Wednesday, that Hunter Biden’s laptop is authentic. The Times reported that it was found by them. It was taken by the first son from Delaware, and the owner of the shop gave it to the FBI.

Psaki claimed Hunter Biden was reporting on Hunter Biden’s laptop in 2020 as part of a Russian disinformation campaign.
