Project Veritas, a non-profit journalism enterprise started in 2011, just uncovered one of the biggest ballot harvesting schemes and, of course, it is attached to Rep. Ilhan Omar. He is one of the key members of the progressive “squad,” along with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Rashida Tlaib, and Ayanna Pressley.
Project Veritas founder, James O’Keefe, and his undercover camera crew recently discovered hundreds of absentee ballots in an operative’s car in Minneapolis. What’s even worse is that the ballots were taken directly from the elderly and young people, then were traded for cash. It’s hardly a surprise to see such fraud surrounding Minnesota Democrat campaigns.
It all started when a man named Liban Mohamed publicly bragged in a series of Snapchat videos about his car being full of stolen ballots to help his brother Jamal Osman win the city’s August 11. Special election for a vacant Ward 6 city council race.
The investigation then unveiled a ballot harvesting triangle where schemes operate at the Riverside Plaza apartments, senior citizen community at Horn Towers, and the Minneapolis Elections and Voter Services office.
“Ballot harvesting is real and it has become a big business. Our investigation into this ballot harvesting ring demonstrates clearly how these unscrupulous operators exploit the elderly and immigrant communities—and have turned the sacred ballot box into a commodities trading desk. We are showing Americans what is really going on in one of our great cities—but, it’s not me saying—we have the operators on tape saying it all themselves,” O’Keefe said.
This then led investigators to meet a Somali-American, Omar Jamal, who participates as a ballot harvester in his community. The harvester said vote-buying operatives from the Omar machine came to his apartment building to oversee the voter filling out the paperwork.
“They come to us. They came to our homes. They said: ‘This year, you will vote for Ilhan,’ They said: ‘We will make the absentee ballots. We will fill out the forms for you and when you get them back, we will again fill it out and send it,” Jamal said.
Ballot harvesting has become bigger than before with exploiting the elderly and immigrant communities. Democrats have taken the sacred ballot box and the right to vote and turned it into a commodities trading desk.
Even President Trump had something to say about the results of the Project Veritas investigation. This is a key swing state in the 2020 presidential election. “This is totally illegal. Hope that the U.S. Attorney in Minnesota has this, and other of her many misdeeds, under serious review??? If not, why not??? We will win Minnesota because of her, and law enforcement. The left should have learned by now…you have to earn votes, you can’t always buy your way in.
