Former Vice President Mike Pence announced he will be partnering with Young America’s Foundation to debut a video podcast in the coming months. He will also be joining the group’s lecturers to speak at conferences and colleges, as well as publishing monthly opinions on the conservative movement.
“Throughout its 60-year history, Young America’s Foundation has been a bulwark of the Conservative Movement, advancing the cause of freedom and ensuring our future leaders embrace America’s founding principles and I am honored to join YAF as the Ronald Reagan Presidential Scholar,” Pence said.
Pence continued by saying he was honored to continue to leadership of Ronald Reagan, a leader who inspired his youth. He said he felt humbled to continue the work of advancing conservative causes from a position bearing his name. Others joined in praising the former vice president for continuing to support and endorse a conservative lifestyle.
“Now, by partnering with YAF, the vice president will continue to attract new hearts and minds to the conservative cause, passing along the ideas of freedom—just as President Reagan did before, during, and after his time in office. Vice President Pence’s energy and enthusiasm for Ronald Reagan’s values have and will continue to inspire a new generation of young people,” said former Republican Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker.
The former vice president had worked as a talk radio host in the 90’s as a prominent conservative radio personality. Returning to his roots, Pence will launch the YAF-sponsored show “The Mike Pence Show” which will be geared towards the conservative youth group.
Pence will also be joining the Heritage Foundation as a distinguished visiting fellow and using it as a conservative think tank for his political future.
The Heritage Foundation issued a statement saying they’ve worked with members of the Trump administration on a host of policy accomplishments over the course of the past four years. They were excited to advance conservative policies with Pence that will benefit every American including being a defender of individual freedom, traditional values, free markets, and limited government.
“That’s why I am excited Vice President Mike Pence will join forces with Heritage to ensure we continue to advance conservative principles and policy solutions. His allegiance to the Constitution and commitment to advancing a conservative policy agenda make him an outstanding fit for The Heritage Foundation,” the statement concludes.
Pence is one of the few politicians left with any semblance of morality. He sticks to the Constitution and his values. While people have been quick to jump on the media’s lies about his ally Trump, it’s time they give Pence a chance and see what he’s about.
