Outrage Sparks as Mayorkas Admits FEMA is Out of Funds After Billions Spent on Illegal Immigrants

Stories coming out of Western North Carolina are gripping and emotional as entire communities have been wiped out due to the effects of Hurricane Helene. Many people remain missing and many are trapped in remote areas where only airlifts can reach them. Supplies are also unable to reach these communities.

The Biden-Harris Administration has shown a complete lack of competence in handling this disaster. Biden has been slow to dispatch rescue efforts. Private helicopter missions have also been shut down because of bureaucratic decisions. A Biden visit in the region resulted in no-flying zones that hampered ongoing missions to deliver aid and rescue those stranded. Pete Buttigieg, Transportation Secretary and “Mayor”, has issued orders prohibiting drones from searching for survivors at remote locations.

Citizens are required to openly challenge their government in these situations. It is inhumane to wait for federal intervention when lives and health are at risk. Ignore federal officials and take care of your neighbors. The government is not an ally.

Alejandro Mayorkas, who has been a leader for years, made a shocking announcement. The shell of a person who has been a non-leader for many years held a hurricane relief press conference, looked directly into the cameras, and declared without any shame that FEMA was out of money.

We are meeting our immediate needs using the money we have. Mayorkas stated that they expect another hurricane to hit. “FEMA doesn’t have enough money to get through this hurricane season.”

You are about to discover what is so enraging about this. Mayorkas directed that the emergency relief agency focus on the largest self-created crises of the Biden years: the floods of illegal immigrants coming here. FEMA spent over $362 million on its Shelter and Services Program last year to help illegal immigrants. In 2024 they have almost doubled this allocation.

FEMA spent more than one billion dollars in less than two years on services for non-residents, but now American citizens are unable to get the help they need. Remember when George Bush was criticized for his response to Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans? The media barely mentions the failures of the current administration after they have displayed layers of incompetence. Now, the agency that was supposed to help with disaster relief has gone bankrupt because it is focusing its attention and funding elsewhere.

The Biden administration has repeatedly demonstrated that Americans are treated as second-class citizens in their own country.
