New Iranian Rocket Attacks Injure More US Forces in Syria

Fox News reports that U.S. forces were hurt by Iranian rocket attacks in Syria on Friday.

The attacks took place in Deir Ezzor, eastern Syria. Although the exact number of casualties is not known, some could be very serious. The Pentagon was currently assessing its response.

Six servicemen were injured in northeast Syria by an Iranian drone, which had previously killed an American contractor.

U.S. intelligence determined that the drone that hit the base was Iranian.

According to a senior U.S. defense official, the injured U.S. military personnel were in stable condition and were taken to Landstuhl, Germany.
