Kamala Harris Responds to Joe Biden Calling Trump Supporters ‘Garbage’ — And It’s Quite the Exchange

Joe Biden, the president of the United States, went on TV Tuesday night and called Trump supporters garbage. This came after Democrats and their media allies had a long-running outrage over a pro-Trump roast comedian telling a bad joke about Puerto Rico. The Harris campaign thought they had finally cooked up something, even though it was a stupid joke. But the old man stepped in and stopped that.

As soon as Biden said the words, the rush to explain what he had said began. The White House added a magic apostrophe to the transcript, saying that Trump’s “supporters” were the problem and not their garbage. It doesn’t make things better. But since we have the video and it is clear what he meant, it does not matter. The damage has been done.

How would Kamala Harris handle the situation? On Wednesday morning, she answered our question while standing on the ramp of Joint Base Andrews.

REPORTER: Do you sympathize or understand the voters who feel insulted or offended by this garbage comment?

HARRIS: My campaign for the presidency of the United States is underway. Today, I’ll be visiting three states to continue what I’ve been doing all along, which is to talk with the American public about how I understand their concerns about issues like the cost of groceries.

This woman is a walking predictive text machine. She will start spitting random lines when you ask her a simple question. “I’m running for President of the United States.” She says, “I will be visiting three states today …”, which has nothing to do with the reporter’s query. We all care about grocery prices (and we have no faith in the person who has been in power for four years to fix the problem). But does she sympathize or understand the voters who were offended by Biden’s remarks? She couldn’t resist making her scripted remarks.

She repeated the canned response she had used in the debate, asking people whether they were “okay.”

REPORTER: Do you worry about the impact on voters? Are you worried that this will cause division in the election and dissuade people from voting for you due to your association with the President’s administration?

HARRIS: My communication with the American people has been clear. I understand the challenges people face. I respect that we have more in common than what divides us, and that the majority of people want a leader who gets this and takes their leadership role that way. Since my first years as a public prosecutor, I have been clear. I never asked anyone if he or she was a Democrat. I only asked people “Are you okay?” This is the kind of President I’ll be.

This is the most vapid presidential candidate ever. She has nothing to say. She does not even take the time to prepare simple answers to questions that she is sure she will be asked. She instead relies on a series of rehearsed responses from focus groups that make her sound like a machine. She was asked whether she was worried about Biden’s remarks impacting her support and launched into an entirely unrelated word soup.

Did she ever address the comments directly? Sort of.

Hang on. Wait a second. How could Biden clarify his remarks if there is a magic apostrophe that can change what he said? The press assured me that there was nothing to clarify and that Republicans were grabbing his words and removing them from context. It’s not accurate, but it is still true. Harris is trying to be on both sides of the fence. He doesn’t want to admit what was said, but he does condemn it directly while spouting platitudes about respecting others. It’s laughable.

It’s not funny that this person could still become the president of the United States. Imagine Harris making split-second choices with serious consequences. She has already been accused of not doing her homework and ignoring briefings. Her public appearances reflect this tendency to be lazy. The press and she have created a facade that hides nothing.
