An ex-staffer from the Obama administration claimed that Joe Biden (then-Vice President) was part of a kickback scheme that took place in 2014. An ex-Obama staffer also said that Hunter Biden as well as Burisma, a Ukrainian gas firm, were involved in the scheme.
Mike McCormick was a stenographer for the White House for 15 years, including during the Obama presidency (2011 to 2017). McCormick stated that he was on Air Force Two on April 21, 2014. Jake Sullivan (Vice President and aide to McCormick) reportedly spoke to the media during a trip to Kyiv (Ukraine).
“I’m sitting back there with a tape recorder. Jake Sullivan comes back and somebody asks about fracking,” McCormick told Fox News. “His answer is, well, we’re bringing a lot of American assistance over for fracking. Burisma was the direct beneficiary of that fracking, and that’s what I recorded, and that’s in a White House transcript.”
According to the White House, a senior White House official told the media that the U.S. would provide Ukraine with technology to extract unconventional gas resources.
McCormick said that the official was Sullivan who is President Biden’s national safety advisor.
Senior officials in the administration noted that technical assistance teams (from the Treasury Department and elsewhere) would be “put to the ground” in Ukraine to “help ensure” that money from Europe is “effectively allocated. ”
Hunter Biden joined Burisma just three days after an Obama administration official had promised that he would help Ukraine with its energy needs. Burisma didn’t announce Biden’s appointment until May 12, 2014.
McCormick stated that “In this transcript, you don’t know where Jake Sullivan is. It’s a senior official in the administration. I am the witness who claims Jake Sullivan said it.” As Hunter Biden was serving on Burisma’s board, he should be investigated. Joe Biden is benefitting from American taxpayer money for his family and that company.
The White House stated that it had given Ukraine nearly $ 320 million in assistance for 2014, as well as a $1 billion sovereign guarantee.
McCormick told the Daily Mail that Sullivan had promised Hunter that he would help Ukraine’s fracking sector. Joe Biden would know.
According To The Daily Mail, this month’s report stated that the company started hydraulic fracturing (also called fracking) back in 2016 and used it in 10 percent of its wells until May 2019. A Burisma executive explained how the US helped the company in Ukraine in a 2017 interview.
Reuters reported that Burisma’s revenue was at least $400 million in 2018.
McCormick said that he had informed the FBI of the allegations and was willing to testify under oath before the federal grand juries investigating Hunter’s death in Delaware.
“In February, my spouse and I filed a tip to the FBI’s site. If they do this and then lie to them, they can send you to prison.”
McCormick stated, “Because he is part of the conspiracy, former President Barack Obama should be called as a witness in the grand jury investigation. ”
Biden repeatedly denied claims that he discussed overseas business dealings with his son or received financial rewards from any alleged influence-peddling by Hunter Biden.
