Florida Gov. Defends Businesses Against Biden’s Unconstitutional Vaccine Mandate

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis made it clear during a recent press conference that he does not have any plans to impose federal vaccine mandates on businesses. He slammed President Joe Biden’s announcement for the mandates, saying it was fundamentally wrong to cause people to lose their jobs over their vaccine status. He made it clear he would not be taking the steps to alienate more people, saying it does not influence more people to get the shot. DeSantis also adds that it fails to recognize the natural immunity of a person who has been previously infected with COVID-19.

“I could say the one thing that I’m concerned about is them trying to force mandates on individuals and businesses. How could we get to the point in the country where you would want to have someone lose their job because of their choice about the vaccine or not?” DeSantis asked.

Biden has continued to threaten any governors who vowed to fight his orders, but DeSantis has said it is “not based on science” and “unconstitutional.” While Biden argued that he’s losing patience with people for not getting the jab, DeSantis said the country is not run with a one-person rule and that we live in a constitutional system. He said the Department of Labor does not have the legal authority to try a rule like that when they need to support the protection of those who are just trying to earn a living.

DeSantis also pointed to the Israel Study showing that the infection control of immunity is much stronger than the vaccine. It doesn’t follow any science to mandate a COVID-19 vaccine when it means less protection than someone who is immune. He said the study isn’t 100% but that’s it’s very strong in recognizing natural immunity rates, something the radical left has completely ignored. He went on to say that the government should not be imposing any mandates on employees and that they cannot lecture anyone about their personal health decisions.

DeSantis said a large portion of the hospital rates is unvaccinated, but that they are not forcing anyone into the “right decision.” There are still a ton of clinical studies being done on the importance of early treatment.

Dr. Anthony Fauci, Biden’s top medical adviser, even criticized DeSantis for saying that getting the vaccine was a personal choice.

“If [DeSantis] feels that vaccines are not important for people, that they’re just important for some people, that’s completely incorrect. When you’re dealing with an outbreak of infectious disease, it isn’t only about you. There’s a societal responsibility that we all have,” Fauci said on CNN.

DeSantis, however, was simply saying that people should be allowed to decide if they want to get the vaccine or not. He said it’s about your health and however you want to protect that. But Fauci has continued to argue that “you are the problem” when there’s a virus circulating in the community and you are not vaccinated. He said you are allowing yourself to be a vehicle for the virus and to spread it to someone else. “So it isn’t as if it stops with you,” Fauci said.

DeSantis has continued to emphasize how the liberal media is pushing a false narrative of him to the American people regarding vaccine mandates.

“What I said was, if you’re going to force vaccine mandates on people, just to understand that what the data is showing us about the vaccine, the data is showing us you’re much less likely to be hospitalized or die if you’re vaccinated. That is true. And I think you see it in the statistics,” DeSantis clarified.

The Florida governor went on to say that vaccinations have not created herd immunity and that forcing the vaccine on everyone makes no sense if it’s still spreading.

Fauci was also recently exposed in a bombshell report and by Sen. Rand Paul for lying to Congress about the dangerous gain-of-function research he helped carry out. There are over 900 pages on the research on coronaviruses via an EcoHealth Alliance grant to the Wuhan lab. Anything he says about the virus at this point will be to protect his money and reputation.
