Democratic Governor Turns On Biden Vaccine Mandate, Says It Is Not Correct Or Effective Solution

Democratic Kansas Governor Laura Kelly has recently criticized President Biden’s mandate for vaccines as not being the most effective or correct solution for the country.

She talks about how the Biden Administration’s new vaccine mandate was reviewed, adding that she didn’t believe this directive was the best or most effective solution for Kansas.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, the states have led the fight against COVID-19. She said that it was too late to impose such strict federal standards now that they have developed strategies and systems that are specific for our needs.

Biden has ordered all private companies with more than 100 employees to implement a mandatory vaccine requirement in January. The Court of Appeals granted an emergency stay of vaccine requirement by OSHA, with Louisiana AG Jeff Landry stating that the action stopped Biden from unlawful overreach.

Landry states that the president won’t impose medical procedures upon the American people without checks and balances afforded under the constitution. Biden’s mandate to provide vaccines for businesses was met with immediate resistance when it was announced earlier in the year. When the mandate was announced for the first time in September, the GOP claimed it was unconstitutional. Kelly said that she would seek a solution to the mandated vaccines and build the ongoing efforts to combat the pandemic.

Kelly will be running for reelection, with the GOP challenger Kansas AG Derek Schmidt reacting to her comments by stating that she has remained silent for two months on Biden’s vaccine mandate, while Schmidt has been fighting it.

Schmidt’s campaign manager CJ Grove tweeted how AG Schmidt was fighting Joe Biden’s mandates from the moment they were announced. After two months of silence, Laura Kelly now voices her concerns 36 hours after her party’s defeat in blue-state Virginia. However, her words were not accompanied by any action. He says that Kansans are smart and can see which candidate is acting on principle to defend their livelihoods and which one is making desperate political ploys to save their job.
