Class Act Byron Donalds Levels Cori Bush For Her Vile Attack

Rep. Byron Donalds, a Republican from Texas, has proven that he is a force to reckon with in the chaos surrounding the Speaker’s Race.

This is why 20 people opposed to Rep. Kevin McCarthy’s election rallied around Donalds.

My colleague previously reported that Donald’s answer to a question about whether he fears retribution for opposing someone who could be the next speaker was a classic. “Man, I’m 6’2”, 275 pounds,” Donalds also stated, “He was not concerned about it. That’s beast mode.”

Donalds was also the second black person to be nominated as Speaker of the House. He didn’t celebrate that. Instead, he was rebuked by Cori Bush (D–MO), a “The Squad” member. He was treated with contempt by her. It was almost as if she had called him “Uncle Tom.”

Bush moaned, “FWIW. @ByronDonalds has not been a historical candidate for Speaker.” “He is a prop.” “He is Black but supports a policy agenda that perpetuates white supremacy.” “His inclusion in the mix is not progress, it’s pathetic.”

This means that if you don’t identify as a left-wing radical such as Bush, you aren’t an “acceptable” African person. This is a racist, disgusting smear. She also spreads complete lies about him. Rep. Bush is a conservative who believes in empowering people, while you believe in controlling people to do what your way.

Donalds was a class act in the face of such a horrific attack.

Donalds responded, “FWIW. Nobody asked @CoriBush their opinion on the matter.” Let’s have a discussion about the policies and their outcomes before you judge my agenda. Don’t be a crab trapped in a barrel!

This is how it should be done — call her out and ask her to justify her policies. Because these policies have failed people for decades, the left won’t do that. They don’t have the ability to defend themselves. Conservatives must do more to expose the empty claims of leftists.

Donalds’ responses to both the retribution question and Bush’s show his promise, and why the objectors see leadership ability in him. Whatever happens with the Speaker vote, the fight has shown that there are some good people coming up who are willing to fight on behalf of the people.
