Baldwin has been charged for two counts of involuntary murder in the death in October 2021 of Halyna Hutchins, a 42-year old cinematographer. Baldwin won’t face any legal consequences, despite accidentally firing a gun at a cross-draw, killing the cinematographer and injuring director Joel Souza.
Luke Nikas and Alex Spiro, Alec Baldwin’s lawyers, said in a press statement: “We are pleased with the decision to dismiss the case against Alec Baldwin and we encourage a thorough investigation into the facts and circumstances surrounding this tragic incident.” ”
