Census Cowboy Arrested On Highway, Endorsed By Chicago Mayor

Democratic politicians like New York’s Mayor Bill de Blasio and Chicago’s Mayor Lori Lightfoot don’t actually solve any of the problems in their cities. They just like to attack President Trump and keep busy with all of their social justice distractions. Or in Chicago’s case, distract them with a cowboy.

Mayor Lori Lightfoot recently held a press conference and introduced the ‘Census Cowboy.” Census Cowboy is a man riding a horse who ensures people are filling out their census forms. She put on a green cowboy hat and said that if he shows up in your neighborhood then that’s bad. She referenced the Census Cowboy figure and said she was sounding the “distress signal” for Batman. It was one of the strangest things to see in Chicago history.

The cowboy, Adam Hollingsworth, led one of Chicago’s Black Lives Matter marches and has been seen on camera multiple times yelling “fu** the police.” Mind you, this is the man the Mayor has publicly endorsed. It’s clear this cowboy is here for more than just a few neighborhood census checks.

On Monday, Hollingsworth (or “Dreadhead Cowboy”) was seen galloping down the Dan Ryan Expressway on his horse to protest #KidsLivesMatter, an initiative to raise awareness and motivate residents to complete their census forms. The horse, however, was ill-equipped for the 7.5-mile highway ride and was almost run to death. The horse would not have survived without immediate treatment and may still be euthanized.

“The horse’s eyes were dilated to the point they looked like cartoon eyes,” Cook County Assistant State’s Attorney Kevin Deboni said.

The horse spent most of the ride galloping and did not have proper shoes for the pavement, which caused excessive bleeding and damage to its health. Law enforcement was trailing Hollingsworth until the horse collapsed at around 9500 South Lafayette.

Animal Care & Control experts said the ride was equivalent to forcing an 80-year-old woman to run a full marathon. Hollingsworth was arrested and held on a $25,000 bond. He was charged with a felony count of aggravated cruelty to an animal, as well as counts of reckless conduct, trespassing, and traffic offenses.

After the ride, Hollingsworth shared that he’d ride again and isn’t giving up until he’s the only one out there. He is calling Mayor Lightfoot to support him in pushing the census movement, along with asking support from Kanye West and Chance the Rapper…as if this year wasn’t weird enough.

Solid choice, Mayor Lightfoot.
