Biden’s Recent CNN Town Hall Was A Train Wreck About Vaccines, Guns, Voting, & Inflation

President Joe Biden’s most recent CNN town hall event in Cincinnati, Ohio, went exactly as you’d expect. Between losing his train of thought and lying on the spot, it’s impossible to tell what people took away from Biden’s performance. He’s well known for his gaffes and blunders but seemed unable to even offer any answers to relatively simple questions. President Biden spoke to a half-empty auditorium, with more than a dozen empty rows. For a president that got 80 million votes, the crowd sure didn’t show it.

One of the most bumbling and incoherent answers of the night was when CNN host Don Lemon asked President Joe Biden when children under 12 will be able to get vaccinated. Biden replied, “Soon, I believe” before moving on to a different subject. Lemon interjected and asked the president “How soon is soon, Mr. President?” Biden appeared to be thrown off and completely lost his train of thought.

“Well let me finish the question. The answer, soon in the sense that I do not tell any scientists what they should do, I do not interfere. And so, they are doing, they’re doing the examinations now, the testing now, and making the decision now,” Biden said.

He talked about determining the vaccination effects in children ages 3-8 and being in a position to know “if the experts” can get the drugs permanently approved. He said he expects that to occur quickly but spewed word salad for a full 40 seconds while the crowd just sat there in stunned silence.

Lemon quickly asked Biden if he meant the FDA before the pair moved on to another topic. It was an incredibly cringe moment. The exchange was so uncomfortable that it even caught the eye of Donald Trump Jr, the eldest son of former President Donald Trump.

“I don’t know about you but I’m thrilled this is the guy in charge of the free world. We should all sleep sound at night. Hey at least there’s no mean tweets… mostly because this guy wouldn’t be capable of a tweet or even a complete thought,” Trump Jr. tweeted.

Throughout the night, Lemon repeatedly inserted himself to help Biden along with the event, one challenging moment after the next. He took most of the audience questions from Democrats and often included his two cents. The only time he lectured Biden was to ax the Senate’s filibuster, which he referred to as the “Jim Crow relic,” and protect the right to vote.

The far-left CNN host went on a Joy Reid-style rant about the GOP’s efforts to restrict voting rights and how the President needed to honor the people who fought and died to ensure that people of all races could vote. Lemon even tried to liken the GOP’s bills to the past racist measures of asking Black voters to guess beans in a jar or bubbles on soap

But for the answers where Lemon didn’t interject, Biden made false claims. One of the biggest false claims he gave was when he tried to address vaccine hesitancy, but offered inaccurate information about the vaccines instead. Even CNN’s post-event panel critic Anderson Cooper said his claim was “just obviously not the case.”

Biden claimed you’re “not going to get COVID if you have these vaccinations.” While vaccines greatly reduce the probability of getting COVID-19, it does not eliminate the chances. Even the Center for Disease Control & Prevention’s website states that a “small percentage of people fully vaccinated against COVID-19” can still develop COVID-19 illness. They said it is possible a person can get infected right before the vaccination or even as new variants of the virus emerge.

Biden also claimed that crime rates are down after trying to push and eliminate 9mm pistols. He said it was “ridiculous” that a person would need a weapon that has the ability to fire 20-120 shots. He also said he would continue to push assault weapons ban legislation and has moved quickly with the Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives to regulate AR-pistols with stabilizer braces.

Biden also tried to claim that his new multitrillion-dollar spending bill would “reduce inflation,” which CNN panelists said they weren’t impressed on. They said he didn’t give a “satisfactory answer” on many key issues and left the American people listening to his non-scientific idiocy.

Biden bumbles about masking up children, banning guns, lowering crime, and reducing inflation. He loses his train of thought along the way and provides no clear path on how to get there. Biden is just talking to hear himself talk at this point. He doesn’t even know what he’s saying anymore.
