Nina Jankowicz served as the chair of Disinformation Governance Board at Department of Homeland Security. She wanted Facebook to block Breitbart news and joined the left’s call that Silicon Valley should censor conservative news outlets.
Jankowicz (33) whose statements as well as her songs came under scrutiny following the public revelations about her new position this week. She was once a supporter of the “Russia collusion conspiracy theory” and denied Hunter Biden’s 2020 laptop was authentic.

She also called for greater regulation of free speech on social media networks. This included calling Mark Zuckerberg’s speech at Georgetown University on free speech “unfortunate” as well as protesting Breitbart’s inclusion in the platform.

Jancowicz also claimed in her 2020 book How to Lose the Information War that Breitbart News used Russian state sponsored media. Russia, Fake News, and the Future of Conflict. This claim was unsupported by any evidence.
