NYC Judge Grants Trump Rare Permission to Attend Son’s Graduation

Donald Trump’s New York City prosecution was meant to hurt, smear, and cut his financial resources in preparation for the 2024 presidential election. It is not to weaken or shrink the man. The media loves this image of Trump in the freezing courtroom, looking “old and tired” as if he’d rather be anywhere else, such as campaigning for president.

It is becoming more and more obvious that you cannot speak or refer to yourself in quotes as Mr. President. Mr. President, I’ll think about allowing you to take a day off to attend your son’s graduation. If you’re a good boy.

The case in question is as partisan and polarizing as it gets.

Trump had requested this for weeks. On the first day of the trial, he fumed that the judge hadn’t yet responded to him about the possibility of pausing the courtroom for Barron’s graduation. “I was looking forward to seeing both his parents at his graduation,” he told reporters outside the Courtroom. “He continued, “It seems like the court won’t let me escape from this scam. Unknown to most people, defendants can attend all family events, including weddings and funerals.

A judge in the Trump New York court case would find it difficult to convince the public that Donald Trump, former president of the United States of America couldn’t be present at his youngest child’s graduation.

Trump was adamant on Tuesday that the judge had denied him permission for Barron Barron to graduate from high school. On Monday, the judge responded.

He told Trump’s staff: “I don’t think the date May 17 is an issue.” The judge announced that the court would be closed on May 17th and Friday following to observe Memorial Day.

Barron is a student at a private school near Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach.

According to The Washington Post, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton appeared in court with Eric Trump and Trump’s campaign advisor Susan Wiles on Tuesday.

In a second ruling, Judge Merchan fined Trump $9,000 total for nine of the first contempt charges brought against him. Trump has been bound by a gag and is not allowed to defend himself outside of court or mention news articles, quotes, or multimedia supporting him.

Stormy and Michael Cohen, a former Trump lawyer, who received $130,000 as part of a non-disclosure agreement, gave interviews in which they spoke out against Trump. Cohen makes money through his podcast, and he has a TikTok page where he regularly lashes out at the former client.

On Tuesday, the judge told both Cohen and the former Porno Lady to temper their comments. It was the first hearing in which he did so.
