It feels like Democrats are starting to panic a bit. Nancy Pelosi demonstrated that on Monday.
The former Speaker of the House, appearing on MSNBC, screamed at Katy Tur and accused her of being a “sympathizer for Donald Trump.” I don’t need to describe how absurd it is to say that anyone from the most left-wing network on TV would be a fan of Donald Trump. But that’s where we stand.

PELOSI: And Joe Biden is doing that. He created nine million jobs in his term in office. Donald Trump has the worst record of job loss of any president so we just have to make sure people know.
TUR: That was a global pandemic.
PELOSI: He had the worst record of any president. We’ve had other concerns in our country. If you want to be an apologist for Donald Trump, that may be your role, but it ain’t mine
TUR: I don’t think anybody can accuse me of that
Katy Tur has always been a leftist. It’s like saying Barack Obama is a Ted Cruz fan to suggest that she is an apologist. This is so absurd that it makes you question the mental ability of the person making the accusation.
But this is what Democrats are like. The press is so used to praising them that they are enraged by even the slightest pushback. MSNBC hosts are constantly promoting Democratic Party propaganda. They can’t help but be ridiculed when they discover the truth.
Joe Biden’s economic record is a smoke screen. We are all aware of the high rates of inflation and interest. It’s impossible to live in America without feeling the pressure from prices that have risen by an eye-watering 20% under the current President. Even Biden’s so-called successes were largely driven by COVID-19 which was an economic downturn that he caused.
It is absurd to claim that Biden has created nine million new jobs. The majority of these jobs were lost temporarily due to government-mandated lockdowns. They always came back. Given the context, a one-legged baby baboon would have been able to create “nine million jobs”.
What’s important, however, is the way we got there. Bidenomics has had the worst possible outcomes for everyone except the ultra-wealthy. The United States had the option to take its medicine and suffer a short-lived economic recession after the reopening of the market during the pandemic. Biden and other politicians spent the country into oblivion to avoid the political consequences of a technical recession. Price increases and high-interest rates have stifled the ability of anyone in the middle class to build wealth.
Why do so many Americans believe that the economy is in a bad state? They see it in their bank accounts. Pelosi may gaslight or lash out but this is not a message issue. It’s about reality, and the current state of the economy doesn’t work for most people.
