Tulsi Gabbard Drops Major Bombshell at Trump Rally in Greensboro

The former president Donald Trump spoke at a rally held in Greensboro on Tuesday night. Former Congresswoman Tulsi Gabrield (HI) was among those who joined him on stage. She ran for president as a Democrat in 2020 and helped knock out then-Senator Kamala Harris of California from the primary. Later, she became an Independent.

Gabbard has been a strong supporter of Trump during this election cycle. She has appeared with Trump as well as former Independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. who has been campaigning alongside Trump since August, when he suspended his campaign.

Gabbard, dressed in red, used the Tuesday night rally to announce a shocking announcement: she is joining the Republican Party.

She announced at this moment:

“And it is because of my love for our country — and specifically, because of the leadership that President Trump has brought to transform the Republican Party and bring it back to the party of the people and the party of peace — that I’m proud to stand here with you today, President Trump, and announce that I’m joining the Republican Party. I’m joining the party of the people, the party of equality, the party that was founded to fight against and end slavery in this country. It is the party of common sense and the party that is led by a president who has the courage and strength to fight for peace.”

Trump was probably aware that Gabbard would make the announcement but still seemed surprised. When she announced it, the crowd went crazy.

Tulsi, welcome to the party!
