Republican Ohio senator JD Vance, and Democrat Governor. Tim Walz from Minnesota will face off against JD Vance in a pivotal VP debate on Tuesday night. The stakes could not be higher. This could be the most important VP debate in history, as the race between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris is getting closer in the polls.

They both have their problems, but one thing they share is that neither was in the spotlight just a few months before they were selected. Vance may have been more well-known, thanks to the success of his book “Hillbilly Elegy”, but I’d advise that if he was on the vice presidential ticket in the beginning, you should consider a betting career.

Few people predicted that Harris would pick Walz. Those who had “Jazz Hands”, on their radar, knew that he was an obnoxious weirdo with as much baggage as Kate Winslet on the Titanic.

Vance, however, faces a challenge that the gesticulating Minnesota governor does not face: an onslaught from a corrupt corporate press that will twist and distort his words in any way possible to discredit him.

The showdown for Vance, in particular, could be a “make-or-break” moment, as he positions to be the “heir apparent” of Trump, according to Tammy Vigil. She is a professor at Boston University who specializes in media science and political campaigns.

Vigil stated, “Vance is in the news a lot, and not always for positive things.” “He can either change the narrative or reinforce it.”

He says almost everything in the press.

Vance has received criticism for many of his comments and stances. From his past critiques of Trump to his comments criticizing Democrats without children. Recent criticism was directed at him for amplifying false claims about Haitian migrants. He also took a jab at pop star Taylor Swift over his comments in the past that the country is run by “childless cats ladies.” Vance has claimed this comment to be sarcastic.

He keeps his cool.

Walz is also reportedly anxious about the showdown.

Walz, when talking to his aides and supporters in Minnesota, Walz is constantly expressing concern about Harris, say close to a dozen campaign staffers who have spoken to him and to his team. He doesn’t wish Donald Trump the victory. Harris shouldn’t think that Harris made the wrong decision.

It sounds like he’s afraid of being exposed as the “buffoon” that CNN’s Scott Jennings describes him to be.

Walz is also said to have a fiery temper.
